Jeep 4x4 101 Class & Playground
Sunday, April 22, 2018
Have you just purchased your first Jeep or are considering buying one? Want to learn some things about your new Jeep or maybe get a feel for it off-road? Look no further, join us at Curtis Lumber in Ballston Spa for our fun and informative "Jeep 4x4 101 Class!"
Curtis Lumber, with the help of Upstate NY Jeeps built a Jeep playground at Curtis' flagship store on Route 67 in Ballston Spa. The playground called "Rocks 'n Logs n' Lumber Crunchies" is used by Jeep owners during the annual Curtis Car and Truck Show each July. Hundreds of Jeeps go in and out of the playground all day driving over logs, rocks, and more and many get super muddy having a blast in the course!
We would like to keep the Jeep playground open to new Jeep owners and enthusiasts throughout the year and we are offering this informative, hands-on and fun 101 course to help you learn more about your new vehicle. We will cover:
• Trail safety and etiquette
• Tread lightly
• Jeep basics
• How to take your soft top down
• Winch use and safety
• How to put your Jeep in 4wd
• And so much more!
Plus...you can go through our safe and guided course and get a feel for what your Jeep feels like off-road!
Come enjoy the day and mingle with other Jeep enthusiasts and get any questions answered you may have about your Jeep.
Cost is only $15 per person and $5 per passenger and includes:
• Fun and informative hands on classes
• Time in the Jeep playground
• A yummy BBQ
• A GREAT time with your friends from Curtis Lumber and fellow Jeepers!
Proceeds from this workshop will go to Steve Caporizzo's Pet Connection.
